Terms and conditions may from time to time change without notice, so please check for the latest version and resolve any queries prior to placing an order with us.

1. Prices

Prices are valid at the time of ordering but may be subject to change without notice, in which case we will notify you and seek your approval prior to delivery. Please note that books do not currently attract VAT.

2. Delivery

Delivery of goods will usually be from our extensive stock within 7-10 days, however delays may be inevitable so please allow up to 28days. If time is of the essence, this should be stated at the time of the order.

3. Availablity

Items out of stock will be placed on "back order" and supplied when available. If an item is not available for despatch within 10 days of receiving your order we will advise you by e-mail of the expected dispatch date to you. Delivery will normally be by Royal Mail. Please note we are not currently accepting online orders from outside the United Kingdom.

4. Postage and Packing

Delivery and handling charges are arranged by the weight of the books as follows :-

0 to 100g = £0.80

101 to 250g = £1.80

251 to 500g = £2.50
501 to 750g = £3.00

751 to 1kg = £4.50

1+ to 1.5kg = £7.50

1.5+ to 2kg = £8.50

2+ to 4kg = £11.50

4+ to 6kg = £13.00

6+ to 8kg = £15.50

8+ to 10kg = £18.00

5. Payment

All of our online transactions are fully secured by PayPal, our online credit/debit card transaction partner. If you do not wish to make an online purchase goods can be ordered by phone from our shop. Your credit card payment is taken at the time of placement of order. If it is not possibile to use a credit or debit card please place your order by sending your order and a cheque to:-

If payment is made and subsequently dishonoured, a charge of £15 will be levied.

6. Security

For security reasons, when placing an order, you must give your full name, address and postcode, which must be the same as that held by the payment card company.

7. Privacy Policy

Any details held will be used only by The Welsh Highland Railway or our secure payment company and will not be passed on to any other parties. Occasionally we may send you details of special offers, promotions or new price lists. If you would rather not be part of any direct mailings, please state this when ordering.

8. Interpretation.

In the event of any dispute the laws of England and Wales apply.
